USER AGREEMENT
This User Agreement (“Agreement”) sets out the terms and conditions relating to the online content provided free of charge and content subject to payment (“Free Content” and “Paid-for Content”) that The Conference Course (“the Siteowner”) provides to you (“the User”).
By accessing theconferencecourse.com (“the Site”), the User agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. If the User accesses or uses the Site in the course of business, the User confirms that they have authority to agree to these terms on behalf of that business. If the User does not agree to these terms (or is not authorised to do so), the User must not use the Site.
If the User has any questions, they should contact the Siteowner at [email address].
Services and Fees
The Siteowner provides both Free Content and Paid-for Content, which may include subscription-based access to certain materials.
The Siteowner reserves the right to vary, withdraw, or amend any Free Content or Paid-for Content at any time. The Siteowner does not guarantee that content provided free of charge will remain free, nor that Paid-for Content will continue to be offered as a paid service.
The User agrees to pay any applicable subscription fees (“Fees”) at the rates in effect at the time the charges are incurred. The User must provide complete and accurate payment information and may pay by credit card, debit card, or standing order.
By submitting payment details, the User warrants that they are authorised to use those payment details. In the event of unauthorised payment, the Siteowner reserves the right to suspend or terminate the User’s access to the Site and/or Paid-for Content.
If payment authorisation is not received, or is later cancelled, the Siteowner may immediately suspend or terminate access to Paid-for Content and/or the Site. While the Siteowner will make reasonable efforts to provide access promptly, it does not guarantee availability by a specific time.
A contract for Paid-for Content comes into effect when a username and password are issued to the User. Once the User has paid for a subscription for a defined period, the User has no right to cancel the supply of Paid-for Content other than cancelling future subscription renewals. This does not affect the User’s statutory rights.
Registration, Passwords and Privacy
Use of the Site signifies the User’s consent to the collection and use of personal information in accordance with the Siteowner’s Privacy Policy, available at [link].
Registration is not required to access Free Content. To access Paid-for Content, the User must provide accurate and complete registration information and keep that information up to date. The Siteowner is entitled to rely on the information provided.
The User will be required to create a password in a format specified by the Siteowner (“Password”). The User must keep the Password confidential and must not disclose it to any third party.
If the User knows or reasonably suspects that a third party has gained access to their Password, they must notify the Siteowner immediately at [email address].
If the Siteowner reasonably believes the Password has been misused, it may require the User to change the Password or suspend access to the Site and/or Paid-for Content until security concerns are resolved.
Limitations on Use of the Site
All content and services provided by the Siteowner are owned by the Siteowner or licensed to the Siteowner by third parties, including SubHub Limited. All intellectual property rights remain with the Siteowner or its licensors.
Content and services are provided solely for the User’s personal use. The User must not copy, sub-license, distribute, sell, modify, adapt, or otherwise exploit any content or service.
The User must not remove or reproduce any copyright notices, trademarks, logos, watermarks, or proprietary markings.
The User must not carry out any act that infringes or may infringe the intellectual property rights of the Siteowner or its licensors, including SubHub Limited.
Limitation of Liability
The User agrees that use of the Site is entirely at their own risk.
Neither the Siteowner nor any party involved in creating or delivering the Site, including SubHub Limited, shall be liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Site, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business, even if advised of the possibility of such loss.
All content is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose, or non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions, so these limitations may not apply to all Users.
The Siteowner does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of information on the Site and accepts no responsibility for errors or omissions. Information provided does not constitute advice and should not be relied upon as such.
Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. These sites are not endorsed or controlled by the Siteowner, and the Siteowner accepts no responsibility for their content, products, or services.
Any dealings between the User and third parties are at the User’s own risk.
Indemnity
The User agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Siteowner, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, licensors, and SubHub Limited (“Indemnified Parties”) against all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from the User’s use of the Site or breach of this Agreement.
The Siteowner or SubHub Limited may assume control of the defence of any claim subject to indemnification, and the User agrees to cooperate fully.
Breach of Terms
If the User breaches this Agreement, the Siteowner or SubHub Limited may, at their discretion:
a) issue a warning;
b) suspend or terminate the User’s access to the Site or Paid-for Content; and/or
c) restrict future access to the Site.
Third-Party Rights
The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 does not apply to this Agreement, except in respect of SubHub Limited.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements or understandings. The User confirms that they have not relied on any representation not expressly included in this Agreement.
